KITRI Spotlight: Eilidh Smith

Based in Soho, London, Skinwork is renowned for its results-driven treatments, delivered by their team of skin and beauty experts. We caught up with Skinwork founder, Eilidh, to chat business life and what she will be wearing over festive season.

Having worked in skincare for a long time and visited many, many spas, salons and clinics around the globe I felt we could create something the client today wants – bringing together the best of a clinic and the best of a spa.  We wanted to create a professional skincare brand with treatments and products which are all about results, give a great experience at the same time plus expert advice from a professional.  So a really professional service, led by the expert but in a modern, informal environment.  Tried and tested ingredients, techniques and technologies – no fads!  Hopefully we have achieved that in Soho and we are excited to grow further in 2022.
 

What has been your biggest challenge and greatest success so far?

Building out our new flagship during the pandemic and opening the location on 12th April 2021 is definitely our greatest success so far. The new space is our skincare sanctuary in the middle of Soho. Our biggest challenge has been continuing with all our plans to grow the brand whilst navigating the uncertainty of the pandemic.

 
How are you preparing for the holidays - will you be out-out this year, or keeping it cosy at home?

I have just had a baby boy so won’t be venturing very far from home this year - but definitely visiting all our favourite pubs in Tufnell Park and Highgate and making home extra cosy for the festive period.

 
What are your favourite styles from KITRI Winter Collection, and where will you be wearing them over the festive season?

I have a thing for animal print, so this collection is for me! I'll be wearing the Mila Animal Print Overshirt for walks on Hampstead Heath and the Erika Diamond Checker Cardigan for pub lunches (great for breastfeeding also!)

I'll be pairing the The Molly Animal Print Midi Dress with boots for walks and the Mara red velvet dress is going to be either my Christmas or New Year dress.

 
What’s up next for Skinwork?

We have an exciting 2022 with launching our treatments into a new location and launching our long-awaited skincare line!
