#KITRIrecommends

April is finally upon us and we couldn’t be happier! This month marks the start of warmer days, longer evenings and most importantly; rooftop bar season! We can't think of a better way to celebrate one of our favourite months, than by highlighting some of our top finds for your diaries.

Gloria

When it comes to Italian restaurants, we only ask for three things: authentic flavours, generous portions and an atmosphere that has you counting down the days to your next mediterranean getaway – and Gloria offers just that! Whilst it may be situated in Shoreditch (and in high demand), prepare to be transported to an Italian Trattoria, where limoncello flows. Trust us, you won't want to leave before early morning!

She Persisted

One could say we’re partial to ballet, and they would be absolutely right! This month, the English National Ballet caught our eye with their brand new programme, ‘She Persisted'. Not only is it an all-female choreography programme, it also focuses on the life of three iconic women including legendary painter Frida Kahlo - so naturally, we can’t think of anything we’d rather watch! Premiering at Sadler's Wells on 4th April, the show runs until 13th April so make sure you don't miss out.

Salone Milano

Whilst we love to recommend events in our neighbourhood, we can’t help but count the iconic Milanese furniture fair as a must-visit in the month of April! To make matters better (or worse, since we won’t be in attendance 💔), it coincides with Milan Design Week so get ready to immerse yourself in all things design via Instagram, between the 9th-14th of April.

Venetia Berry

This month we’re shining a light on Venetia Berry, one of our favourite female fine artists. Not only does she share our love of vibrant colours and intricate shapes, her colour palette perfectly embodies the feeling of spring and our new collection! Whilst we all patiently wait for her next exhibition, take a look at her beautiful instagram page.

Ordinary People by Diana Evans

The title may be 'Ordinary', but Diana Evans’ new book is anything but. With humor and a refreshing level of honesty, Ordinary People explores love, identity and grief in a way that always remains light-hearted while still being painfully relatable.

We loved this book so much and wanted to give you a chance to read it too!
