#KITRIrecommends
Goodbye (dull) January, hello February! We’re kicking off the shortest and sweetest month of the year, with a cultural fix we all desperately need. We’ve highlighted everything from must-attend events to page-gripping books which we hope will pique your interest as much as it did ours!
Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams

It’s of haute importance that you attend, so we’re giving you the chance to win 2 tickets for the exhibition – click the GIF below for more information on how to enter!
BalletBoyz - Them/US

Making a pit-stop in London on the 5th of March, the BalletBoyz' new show is one that is sure to induce FOMO. If you love contemporary dance and a good excuse for a night out, this innovative and collaborative performance is one for your diary.

An oldie but a goodie, the Experimental Cocktail Club is still one of London’s best kept secrets. Hidden in the middle of Chinatown, this is the kind of place you'd go in for a 'quick drink' and end up leaving hours later. Whether it be for a date or simply a change of scenery, the bar’s intimate and speakeasy-esque atmosphere is one you won’t want to leave.
Christiane Spangsberg
Our favourite artist this month is none other than Danish fine artist, Christiane Spangsberg! After a sold out exhibition in London last autumn (still not over the fact we missed it), we’re excited to see what she has in store for us this year. In the meantime, take a look at her gorgeous instagram page @christianespangsberg.
The Mars Room by Rachel Kushner

‘The Mars Room’ is the latest book we haven’t been able to put down. It’s raw and unseemly funny, but it does its job to remind you about the reality of women’s prisons. If you liked Orange Is The New Black, this will not disappoint!
Tell us your recommendations for February and keep an eye out for our next journal post!
