Originally launched in March 2013, the Pretty Powerful Campaign has evolved into a philanthropic project in partnership with Smart Works. The charity exists to empower unemployed women to enter the workforce by providing women with the clothing, coaching and confidence they need to succeed in interviews and get the job.
In the past decade, Smart Works have opened 11 centres across the UK and helped more than 35,000 unemployed women ahead of their interviews. 69% of their clients go on to get the job within one month. In 2023, they celebrated 10 years of partnership with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and have raised over £1m for the charity.
