#KITRIlocal
Our favourite neighbourhood spots to unwind and more importantly indulge yourself. All based in and around Clapton, East London, the lively backdrop to our SS17 campaign.
Palm Vaults
Living up to it’s name, Palm Vaults transports you from East London to Miami in one easy step. From the moment you open the door you’re greeted by Hannah - the friendliest owner, and her dream aesthetic - think gold, pink and a pleasingly hefty amount of greenery. Simply ideal for whiling away the hours. We particularly enjoy sipping on a pink latte whilst reading the latest Self Service magazine, all surrounded by Hannah’s collections of Milo Baughman and Pieff inspired furniture. Bliss.
Worm London
Hands down our favourite florist, the wonderful Terri and Katie, aka Worm, offer not only exquisite made to order bunches but a specially selected book that comes alongside your flowers. Intrigued? Simply tell the creative duo a little about yourself or the lucky receiver and they personally fine tune the details, all down to the novel selection and the ribbon colour. We lucked out this season and featured their beautiful displays in our lookbook, which consequently ended up brightening our studio. Created with the purpose to make people happy, they are certainly doing just that, and with upcoming workshops in 2017 we know the future is going to be big for the wonderful Worm women.
Uchi
With everything homemade and deliverable to the residents of Hackney, the arrival of Uchi sushi was much anticipated. A small but intimate Japanese spot, combining both hometowns of it’s creators - Tottori and Hackney. Uchi is inspired by the cosy feeling of home, and the small team behind it have recreated this feeling perfectly, with interiors and uniforms lovingly designed by the talented Amy Wenden. We can highly recommend, especially for the black cod in miso, washed down with an unfiltered sake - simply the perfect meal.
P.Franco
A curated wine shop with an added bonus. P.Franco not only offers carefully sourced wines but a discreet bar and exquisite small kitchen. With an upcoming residency from Colombian born, New York based chef Giuseppe Lacorazza, starting on March the 2nd, we recommend to head there early as this exclusive spot is walk-in only and you will definitely want to guarantee your place.
Lardo Bebe
This cosy local pizzeria is actually the younger sibling to the renowned Lardo. Offering all the comfort of Italian food in extremely chic surroundings, the perfect balance. Lardo Bebe feels just like the trusty local restaurant you would discover on the backstreets of Sorrento, yet it’s just on Sandringham Road, all the better for us. The weekend brunch menu has us going again and again, we can 100% guarantee that you will too.
