November #KITRIgirls Recommend:

We love giving you recommendations each month on what #TeamKITRI are up to, but for our November edition of #KITRIrecommends we asked you, our #KITRIgirls, for your favourite places to hang out. Thank you for all of your wonderful suggestions, which we received from all over - here are some of our favourites!

BRUNCH - Friends Of Ours, Hoxton
As if we ever needed an excuse to visit a new cafe, #KITRIgirl Stella, who is a freelance creative working in London, has recommended the wonderful ‘Friends of Ours’ in Hoxton. The Australian (and award-winning may we add) neighbourhood café is a hotspot for inventive brunches, delicious pastries and a relaxed environment. We're most excited to try the organic brioche french toast, or maybe the reuben benedict, although the flaked salmon with dauphinoise potato looks delicious..We'll see you there (we'll be the ones ordering the whole menu).

SWEAT - Blok, ManchesterFrom Barre to Boxing, Callisthenics to Yin Yoga, Blok has a seemingly endless variety of classes designed to hone, tone and calm the mind. Known for its slick interior and warm welcomes, this is the first studio from Blok outside of London. Blok was recommended by Sophie, a marketing manager and illustrator who moved from London to Manchester last year. There's no excuse not to hit the gym now. Thanks Sophie!

LISTEN - ‘How To Fail With Elizabeth Day’ Podcast
If you don't already listen to Elizabeth Day's brilliant podcast, How To Fail, then stop what you're doing, stick your headphones in, and be ready to listen to an extremely relatable and inspiring conversation on the topic of failure. Recommended by Julia, an Australian #KITRIgirl living in Essex, the podcast consists of a moving series of interviews with authors, performers, presenters and athletes, to uncover their three failures in life, rather than just acknowledge their achievements.

EAT CAKE -  101 Bakery, Edinburgh
Let them eat cake! Bakery 101 was started by Rosanna Campbell, a woman on a mission to create stylish but delicious sweet treats for the people of Edinburgh. Her love for baking started when she was a nanny and was told that she was 'good at cake' which sparked the idea for her first company Grace & Co, a cake delivery service. After her desire to have a physical space, Rosanna left behind Grace & Co to open 101 Bakery. Serving an array of baked goods from elegant wedding cakes to the self-acclaimed, 'worlds best cinnamon rolls', this beautifully designed pink and jade green café, filled with leafy motifs and scrumptious smells, will entice any passer by in. This recommendation was from our Founder and Creative Director, Haeni Kim (the first ever #KITRIgirl) after a recent trip to Edinburgh to set up our new space in Harvey Nichols.
