We’re so excited to launch on HURR with our first rental edit! Please tell us a bit about your journey and what inspired you to start HURR…
I co-founded HURR with the ambition to create the world’s leading fashion rental platform. We’ve led the rental revolution at every stage here in the UK and seen tremendous success building out our proprietary peer-to-peer technology, opening the UK’s first fashion rental popup in Selfridges, and powering retail for 90+ exclusive fashion partners. We’ve now proven our product-market fit and have ambitious plans to turn HURR into a ‘fashion rental unicorn’ in the future.
Who is the HURR customer?
The HURR customer is forward-thinking, incredibly savvy and wants to be part of a better future for fashion. Our community wants to discover new designers, rent the latest cult pieces and share their wardrobes within the HURR family.
Startup life is definitely a wild ride! What has been your biggest challenge and greatest success so far?
The biggest challenge has been leading a team through a global pandemic - everything is out of your control yet you're left to navigate through!
Our greatest success has definitely been recently announcing that we'd raised $5.4m in funding backed by Octopus Ventures.
What are your favourite styles from the HURR x KITRI spring edit? Where will you be wearing them over the spring season?
Absolutely the Jolene Joshua Tree Print dress - for me, the collection is everything fashion rental should be. Exciting, fashion-forward, great for day and night and also a way to experiment with new styles and shapes!
Right now we can't keep up with growth, it's been crazy! We've doubled the size of the team in the last few weeks and have lots of exciting partnerships that we're about to announce.
