KITRI x The Lab Co. Wash & Care Guide

STEP 1: Start by checking the fabric content of your KITRI style. If your garment contains a mixture of fibres, follow the instructions for the more delicate fabric (for example wools and satins).

STEP 2: Next, check the wash instructions on the label to understand if your KITRI style is hand wash, machine or dry clean and follow the steps below.

STEP 3: If your garment is hand-wash only, use The Lab Co.’s Laundry Detergent, Add 1-2 capfuls to a bowl of cold water. Simply submerge them in cool water then use gentle movements to swish the items through soapy water, pushing the fabric either between your hands or against the edge of the tub. Soak garment for five minutes. Rinse garment in cold water and lay flat to dry. 

STEP 4: If your garment is machine friendly, we recommend using specialist, gentle detergents like The Lab Co.'s Laundry Strips. Place the strip directly in the drum before loading the washing machine.

STEP 5: Speedy spot-treat. If there are any small stains, spot-treat that one area to avoid a full spin. Simply dilute some of The Lab Co.'s Laundry Detergent in cool water and gently work it into the affected area using a clean cloth, then dab away the residue with another clean, wet cloth. Continue to dampen the cloth with cool water as necessary until the stain disappears.

STEP 6: Take your garment out of the drum immediately after washing to reduce wrinkling and creasing, then gently soak up any excess moisture with a towel to speed up the drying process.  

STEP 7: For other delicate items, simply hang dry indoors, away from direct sunlight.
